A number of personalities from the sporting and celebrity world have taken to Twitter to congratulate Great Britain's Andy Murray on winning the men's singles Olympic gold medal.

The 25-year-old Scot defeated world number one Roger Federer in three straight sets on Centre Court earlier today.
