Tomas Berdych has battled back from a set down to beat Lu Yen-Hhsun in the second round of the Rogers Cup.
The world number five looked comfortable in the opener having raced into a 3-0 lead, only for his Taiwanese opponent to level it up before coming out on top in the tie-break.
Berdych grabbed the first and only break of serve of the second set early on, and despite being pushed all the way he prevailed 6-4 to take the contest to a deciding set in Toronto.
Games went by the way of serve until the fifth, when Lu missed out and allowed Berdych a foothold in the set which he made the most of to record a 6-4 victory.
