Mikhail Youzhny causes an upset at the Dubai Tennis Championships by knocking out world number eight Mardy Fish.

America's Mardy Fish has been knocked out of the Dubai Tennis Championships by Mikhail Youzhny.

World number 34 Youzhny eased to an opening-set victory, breaking on three occasions to wrap up a 6-2 success.

The next set was much more even, as both players held their service games to force a tie-break.

Fish, who is currently ranked eighth in the world, struggled with his serve in the breaker and he did not pick up a single point on his way to a 7-0 defeat.
