Victoria Azarenka beats Daniela Hantuchova in straight sets to secure her place in the third round of the BNP Paribas Open.

Number one seed Victoria Azarenka is through to the third round of the BNP Paribas Open after beating Daniela Hantuchova.

In a hard-fought first set Azarenka got the crucial break to take earn a 6-4 victory.

The second was far more straight forward for the Belarusian as she dominated the set, winning it in style 6-1 and clinching the match in just over 90 minutes.

Azarenka will now play Belgian Kirsten Flipkens in the third round.
