Serena Williams will defend her French Open title with a first-round clash against Alize Lim.

The 32-year-old, who has won the Roland Garros Grand Slam twice in her career, will face the French 23-year-old, while Maria Sharapova will take on a qualifier.

Williams could meet Sharapova in the quarter-finals, while Agnieszka Radwanska faces a potential clash against Angelique Kerber in the final eight.

In the other half of the draw, Petra Kvitova could go up against Simona Halep in the quarter-finals, while a potential tie between Jelena Jankovic and Li Na has been drawn up.

In the men's side, Andy Murray will face world number 55 Andrey Golubev in his opening match.
