Laura Robson misses out on the first round of the French Open after a qualifying defeat to Karolina Pliskova.

Great Britain's Laura Robson has failed to reach the first round of the French Open after a defeat to Karolina Pliskova in a third qualifying round tie.

Despite winning the first set, the 19-year-old went down 6-4 5-7 4-6 to her Czech opponent.

Elena Baltacha, Anne Keothavong and Heather Watson will be Britain's female representatives at Roland Garros.

The second Grand Slam of the year starts on Sunday.
