Novak Djokovic admits that Roger Federer deserved his win in the final of the Cincinnati Open.

Novak Djokovic has admitted that Roger Federer deserved his win in the final of the Cincinnati Open.

The world number one defeated the Serbian 6-0 7-6 to lift the trophy for a record fifth time.

"He started off really well and I made a lot of double faults and errors," said Djokovic. "I had my chances in the second set and I missed them and he deserved the win."

Federer and Djokovic have now beaten each other twice this year.
