Andrew Willis has said that he is hopeful of reaching another final for Great Britain at the World Championships this week when he takes to the pool for tonight's 200m breaststroke semi-final in Kazan.
The 24-year-old qualified second fastest overall when he clocked a time of 2:09.35 in this morning's heats.
Willis, who competed in the final of this event in the last two World Championships, will be the only representative for Britain in the semis after three-time world champion Adam Peaty finished 26th overall.
"Everyone has been swimming out of their skin and it's been a great meet for us," swimming.org quotes Willis as saying.
"Sitting there watching for five days is quite hard. I was anxious and nervous, as you always are before you first swim at the big meet but I'm happy it's done. It's going to be tough because there's a lot of depth in that event, but I'll just give it my best tonight."
Britain currently top the medal table with seven, including four golds.
