Great Britain's Susannah Rodgers has been edged out of medal contention in the final of the S7 50m freestyle.

It would have taken a British record for Rodgers to have been in with a shout of a medal but in the end the field was just too strong.

Jacqueline Freney took yet another gold at this Paralympics, this time taking the win with a Paralympic record time of 32.63s.

Cortney Jordan claimed silver with 33.18, just ahead of Ani Palian of Ukraine with 33.30s.
