Emma Beddoes elated with bronze medal

Team England squash player Emma Beddoes reveals that her bronze-medal win at the Commonwealth Games is the "pinnacle" of her career.

Team England squash player Emma Beddoes feels that she and teammate Alison Waters produced their best performance to clinch a bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games.

The pair defeated Australia's Kasey Brown and Rachael Grinham in straight sets at the Scotstoun Campus to end their tournament on a high note.

Beddoes told reporters: "To go from yesterday, where in a semi-final of the Commonwealth Games we didn't really play how we know we can play, to come back today and play the best we've ever played together is a real testament to us as a partnership.

"I was blubbering away with my family afterwards and I think that says it all as to how much this means to me. To have them here in this arena and to come away with a medal is the pinnacle of my career."

Team England's squash players have won six medals at the Games.
