Ronnie O'Sullivan: 'Lots of players throw snooker matches'

Ronnie O'Sullivan claims that a number of players "throw" snooker matches following the guilty verdict given to Stephen Lee.

Five-time world champion Ronnie O'Sullivan has claimed that a number of players fix snooker matches following the revelations surrounding Stephen Lee.

Lee was found guilty yesterday of fixing seven matches between 2008 and 2009, but O'Sullivan has suggested that he is not the only one who should be accused of cheating.

O'Sullivan wrote on Twitter: "I've heard there's many more players who throw snooker matches .. I suppose Steve lee was just caught out. I just love putting it out there bring it all out in the open.. Nothing like a bit of transparency is what I say..

"No need to worry if you got nothing to hide. But plenty of people have got loads to hide. That's why there is no free speech . There hiding. They will prob fine me for talking about it.. They don't like you doing that.. Like to keep things under the carpet.."

Lee, who could be given a lifetime ban, will discover his punishment on September 24.
