Team GB sailors Hannah Mills, Saskia Clark forced to wait for gold

Hannah Mills and Saskia Clark are forced to wait for sailing gold by the Rio weather.

Team GB sailing duo Hannah Mills and Saskia Clark have been forced to wait for their chance to claim a gold medal in the sport due to the weather in Rio.

The men's and women's 470 sailing medal races did not take place on Wednesday as planned because of the lack of wind in Marina da Gloria and have been rescheduled for the following day.

Mills and Clark are on the brink of a gold medal, heading into the final with a 20-point lead and needing only to finish to top the podium.

Meanwhile, Britain's Luke Patience and Chris Grube head into the final of the men's race in sixth.
