Wales coach Shaun Edwards: 'Bring on England'

Wales defence coach Shaun Edwards throws the gauntlet down to England, calling on Saturday's Rugby World Cup opponents to "bring it on".

Wales defence coach Shaun Edwards has thrown down the gauntlet ahead of his side's Rugby World Cup Pool B clash against hosts England, calling on their opponents to "bring it on".

Both sides have made winning starts in the tournament, as the Dragons clinched a 54-9 win over Uruguay, while Stuart Lancaster's charges beat Fiji 35-11 in the first game of the competition.

Edwards told reporters: "It's a game everybody has been looking forward to for two years so bring it on.

"England have been very formidable on their own ground over the last few years. I think we are the only Northern Hemisphere team that have beaten them and that was back in 2012."

England and Wales will lock horns at Twickenham on Saturday evening.
