The chief executive of the Rugby Football Union Ian Ritchie quells claims that the 2015 Rugby World Cup match between Wales and England could be held in Wales.

The chief executive of the Rugby Football Union Ian Ritchie has rejected claims that the 2015 Rugby World Cup match between Wales and England could be held at the Millennium Stadium.

Head of the Welsh Rugby Union Roger Lewis put forward the proposal earlier on Tuesday, but Ritchie has moved quickly to quell the suggestions.

"We have a very nice home of our own and I would hope very much we would contemplate playing the match here," Ritchie told Sky Sports News.

Twickenham will undergo a major transformation ahead of the tournament that will begin in September 2015.
