Alasdair Strokosch could miss the rest of the Six Nations after fracturing his hand during Scotland's 27-13 defeat to Wales on Sunday.

The flanker joins Ruaridh Jackson, Joe Ansbro, Kelly Brown and Moray Low on the sidelines for Scotland.

"Recovery from such an injury takes typically between four to six weeks," Scotland team doctor James Robson said.

Scotland are waiting for news on winger Max Evans, who left the Millennium Stadium pitch on crutches and wearing an immobilising boot.

"Max will be seen by the specialist ankle surgeon John McKinley at Spire Murrayfield Hospital today and we will await a further update later this week," Robson added.

Scotland will next face France at Murrayfield on Sunday, February 26.
