Three Scotland debutants to face Italy

Three debutants are named in the Scotland starting lineup for their clash with Italy in Rome.

Scotland coach Vern Cotter has named three debutants in his side for Saturday's Rugby World Cup warm-up match against Italy in Rome.

Forward pair John Hardie and Stuart McInally will both win their first caps, as will wing Rory Hughes.

Cotter has made a total of 11 changes after seeing the Scots lose 28-22 to Ireland in Dublin last weekend.

Sam Hidalgo-Clyne and Mike Cusack will make their first starts for their country at the Stadio Olimpico.
