Charl McLeod looks for improvement

Scrum-half Charl McLeod calls on the Sharks "to go one better" in this year's Super Rugby campaign.

Scrum-half Charl McLeod has called on the Sharks to bounce back from their disappointment in last year's Super Rugby campaign.

The 29-year-old was part of the side that were beaten in the final of the competition by the Chiefs, but he has insisted that the team "are looking to go one better this time around".

"It was a bittersweet year for us. We had put ourselves in a good position but then let ourselves down at the final hurdle. We are looking to go one better this time around," he told Sky Sports News.

"We are pretty much the same group of players. We are a settled squad and that will help."

The Sharks won six of their final seven games of the regular season.
