Dan Carter ruled out for New Zealand

New Zealand fly-half Dan Carter misses Sunday's encounter against Ireland with an Achilles injury.

New Zealand fly-half Dan Carter has been ruled out of Sunday's encounter with Ireland through injury.

The 31-year-old suffered an Achilles problem during his side's 30-22 victory over England at Twickenham Stadium last weekend.

Prop Tony Woodcock will also miss the match in Dublin as he recovers from a hamstring injury.

The All Blacks can become the first Test team to win every match in a calendar year if they beat Ireland at the Aviva Stadium on Sunday.
