London Wasps 17-22 Saracens

Alex Goode shows good form with the boot as Saracens claim a victory from their trip to London Wasps.

The boot of Alex Goode helped Saracens claim a 17-22 victory from their trip to London Wasps this afternoon.

Hosting Wasps took a third-minute lead when Billy Vunipola went over the for the game's first try. Nicky Robinson extended their advantage even further by scoring the resultant conversion.

Goode then kicked two penalties to bring Saracens to within a point of the home side.

Visiting Sarries then moved into the lead courtesy of an 18th-minute try from James Short. Goode held his composure to kick between the posts from the conversion.

However, their advantage was short-lived as Tom Lindsay scored a 22nd-minute try for Wasps, which Robinson went on to covert.

Another penalty from Goode in the 26th minute ensured that the sides headed into the break level at 14-14.

Goode added two further penalties after the restart to hand his side the victory, with Robinson only able to reduce the arrears with one penalty-kick.
