Leinster coach Joe Schmidt wants his side to seal a European double following Friday's European Challenge Cup triumph over Stade Francais.

Leinster coach Joe Schmidt has revealed that he has his sights set on a European double following Friday's European Challenge Cup triumph over Stade Francais.

The New Zealander saw his side run out 34-13 winners in Dublin to lift the trophy for the first time in the club's history.

However, Schmidt now wants the team to recover and beat Ulster in next weekend's PRO12 final.

"This is our third European trophy in three years and if you had said that at the start of the season I would have taken it with both hands," he told Sky Sports News.

"We have one match to play so no matter what happens tonight we have to turn around and try and do our best next Saturday.

"To win the PRO12 would be massive. We will be looking to double up if we can."

Schmidt will end his three-year tenure with Leinster this summer when he replaces Declan Kidney as the coach of the Irish national side.
