Leicester Tigers run out 45-15 winners over Exeter Chiefs at Welford Road.

Leicester Tigers hammered Exeter Chiefs in the Aviva Premiership at Welford Road this afternoon.

The home side scored six tries as they ran out comfortable 45-15 winners.

Manu Tuilagi got the ball rolling on eight minutes when he went over the line.

Logovi'i Mulipola added a second before Jack Yeandle responded for the visiting Chiefs on 26 minutes.

However, Vereniki Goneva added a third try for the Tigers two minutes later, before David Mele added two of his own in the second half after Adam Thompstone's 53rd-minute effort.

Ian Whitten added a try of his own 10 minutes from time for the visitors.
