Yorkshire Carnegie have confirmed the signing of centre Tom Casson from Harlequins.

The 25-year-old has penned a two-year contract with the Championship outfit.

Casson, who started his career with Saracens, has made over 60 appearances for Quins since 2010.

"We are delighted to have attracted a player of the calibre of Tom to the club," Yorkshire director Chris Gibson is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "He is very highly regarded by Harlequins, both as a player and a person, and I am sure he will fit in well in our squad."

Casson has represented England at junior level, but he is yet to be capped for the senior side.
