France scrum-half Morgan Parra to miss rest of Six Nations with knee injury

France scrum-half Morgan Parra is sidelined for around 10 weeks with a serious knee injury.

France scrum-half Morgan Parra has been ruled out for the remainder of the Six Nations after suffering a serious knee injury.

The 26-year-old tore the posterior ligament in his right knee during his side's 20-13 defeat to Wales on Saturday.

Parra, who plays his club rugby for Clermont Auvergne, is now expected to be out of action for around 10 weeks.

France continue their Six Nations campaign on March 15 when they face Italy in Rome.
