Team News: Alex Goode, Jack Nowell to start in England's Six Nations clash against Ireland

Alex Goode and Jack Nowell will start for England in their Six Nations clash against Ireland on Sunday.

Alex Goode and Jack Nowell will start for England in Sunday's Six Nations clash against Ireland in Dublin as head coach Stuart Lancaster makes his first changes since the campaign began.

Nowell has come into the fold in place of Jonny May, who has been dropped, while Goode will start his first Test in two years as a replacement for Mike Brown.

The full-back was ruled out of the contest as he continues to recover from concussion that he suffered during England's 47-17 victory over Italy on February 14.

On the bench, Kieran Brookes has replaced Henry Thomas, who is recovering from a hip flexor injury.

England team to play Ireland: Alex Goode (Saracens, 16 caps), Anthony Watson (Bath Rugby, 6 caps), Jonathan Joseph (Bath Rugby, 8 caps), Luther Burrell (Northampton Saints, 9 caps), Jack Nowell (Exeter Chiefs, 5 caps), George Ford (Bath Rugby, 8 caps), Ben Youngs (Leicester Tigers, 44 caps), Joe Marler (Harlequins, 28 caps), Dylan Hartley (Northampton Saints, 63 caps), Dan Cole (Leicester Tigers, 47 caps), David Attwood (Bath Rugby, 18 caps), George Kruis (Saracens, 6 caps), James Haskell (Wasps, 55 caps), Chris Robshaw (captain, Harlequins, 34 caps), Billy Vunipola (Saracens, 14 caps)
