England centre Jonathan Joseph doubtful for Wales clash

England backs coach Andy Farrell reveals that centre Jonathan Joseph is an injury doubt for the side's Pool A clash against Wales, as is number eight Ben Morgan.

England backs coach Andy Farrell has revealed that centre Jonathan Joseph is an injury doubt for the Red Rose's clash against Wales.

Joseph, along with number eight Ben Morgan, could miss out on England's upcoming Pool A fixture having both started in the 35-11 victory over Fiji.

"At the start of every test week we have bumps and bruises. JJ has a bit of a knock. It's nothing too serious and we are working hard to get him fit and in an England shirt this weekend. We'll give JJ every chance to prove his fitness," Farrell told reporters.

"Ben has a little bang on his knee that isn't serious at all. There are still a couple more knocks, people who are not serious. We'll leave them unnamed."

England take on Wales, who also won their opening fixture, at Twickenham on September 26.
