England coach Stuart Lancaster has hinted that he will not be making wholesale changes to his squad following their humbling 30-3 Six Nations defeat to Wales.

The 43-year-old is taking a crop of 42 players on a four-game tour of Argentina in June to put pressure on certain team members and force them to fight for their place.

"We go to a hostile environment. That is why we want midweek games as well," The Sun quotes Lancaster as saying. "They give us a chance to work with a wider group and see who can deliver.

"I don't see wholesale changes. But I see increased pressure on certain players."

Chris Robshaw, Tom Croft and Dan Cole will not be available for the Argentina tour due to British and Irish Lions commitments, so Lancaster will call upon Matt Kvesic, Will Fraser, Luke Wallace and Henry Thomas to deputise.

England back three Alex Goode, Chris Ashton and Mike Brown are reportedly at risk of being dropped.
