Matt Mullan is called up by England as cover for the injured Mako Vunipola.

London Wasps prop Matt Mullan has been called up to the England squad ahead of their Autumn International against New Zealand on Saturday.

The 26-year-old comes in as cover for Mako Vunipola, who looks unlikely to face the All Blacks at Twickenham after picking up a knee injury.

"Mako is still recovering from a knee injury so we are bringing Matt in as cover," England head coach Stuart Lancaster told reporters.

England came from behind to beat Australia 20-13 earlier this month before racing to a 31-12 win over Argentina on Saturday.

Mullan's only previous cap for England came as a replacement in the 2010 Six Nations against Italy.
