Brian O'Driscoll will captain the British and Irish Lions against Western Force on Wednesday.

British and Irish Lions centre Brian O'Driscoll will captain the side when they face Western Force in their second tour match on Friday.

The Ireland international sat out the 59-8 victory over the Barbarians in Hong Kong on Saturday, but comes into the side in what is one of a number of changes.

O'Driscoll takes the armband from the weekend's skipper Paul O'Connell with tour captain Sam Warburton still out with injury.

Head coach Warren Gatland has also brought in the likes of Leigh Halfpenny, Manu Tuilagi and Rory Best as he looks to give his entire squad a chance to prove themselves before the Test matches with Australia.

LIONS XV: Halfpenny, Bowe, O'Driscoll , Tuilagi, North, Sexton, Murray; Healy, Best, Cole, Jones, Evans, Croft, O'Brien, Heaslip
