Adam Ashley-Cooper says that Australia want to improve before facing the British and Irish Lions in the final Test on Saturday.

Australia centre Adam Ashley-Cooper has no doubts that his side have more to offer when they face the British and Irish Lions in the decisive final Test this weekend.

The 29-year-old scored a late try to level the series in Melbourne on Saturday with a narrow 16-15 victory that cancelled out the Lions' 23-21 win the previous weekend in Brisbane.

Despite their win in the second Test, Ashley-Cooper insists that the Wallabies can still significantly improve in time for the final meeting.

"We made a lot of improvement from the first Test, but we still feel there is a lot more to come. We are really excited by the opportunity of Saturday night," he told reporters.

"Possession was a bit of an issue last weekend and we need to hold on to the ball more. We have got too many threats in the backline to waste. We are hoping to get the ball into the wider channels this week and that is something we will address in training."

The two sides meet in Sydney on Saturday for the final Test.
