Wigan Warriors full-back Sam Tomkins has revealed that he could recover from a shoulder injury in time for Sunday's Super League clash with London Broncos.

The England international was forced to sit out his side's 22-10 defeat at Huddersfield Giants last weekend having picked up the problem during the Warriors' 17-17 draw with Warrington Wolves at the start of the month.

"It's looking pretty good, it's actually improved more than we thought this week and it's looking like there's a good chance I'll play on Sunday against London," Tomkins told Sky Sports News.

Wigan are currently in seventh place in the Super League table.
