Wigan Warriors star Sam Tomkins has claimed that competing in the Challenge Cup final is one of the highlights of a player's career.
Wigan, who will take on Hull in the final at Wembley on August 24, clinched the honour in 2011 by defeating Leeds Rhinos.
"Playing in the Challenge Cup final means everything to me and for all the lads at the club," loverugbyleague.com quotes Tomkins as saying. "For someone like me who has grown up in Wigan as a kid I understand the importance of this trophy.
"The club has a fantastic history in the Challenge Cup which everyone is aware of and it's a great competition and it's great for our fans to have the chance to go back to Wembley as they all deserve that opportunity."
Wigan have eight consecutive Wembley victories to their name.
