Warrington Wolves thrashed Widnes Vikings 52-14 away at the Stobart Stadium this afternoon.

Widnes took the lead though Frank Winterstein but Warrington responded with unanswered first-half tries from Mickey Higham, Rhys Williams, Chris Riley, Stefan Ratchford and David Solomona.

Warrington went into the half-time break 22-6 up and scored again early in the second half through Chris Riley.

The Wolves continued to dominate the second half, scoring four tries to Widnes' two, running out 52-14 victors.
