Salford City Reds name former Wigan Warriors and Bradford Bulls boss Brian Noble as their new head coach.

Salford City Reds have appointed Brian Noble as their new head coach.

The Super League side fired Phil Veivers last month after losing four of their opening five matches this season.

The 52-year-old has previously coached Bradford Bulls, Wigan Warrios and Great Britain, but has been out of work since leaving Crusaders in 2010.

The appointment was announced ahead of this afternoon's game against Hull FC.
