Hull FC prop Jordan Thompson eyes victory over Leeds Rhinos

Jordan Thompson calls on his Hull FC teammates to end their season on a positive note by beating Leeds Rhinos this Friday.

Hull FC prop Jordan Thompson has called on his teammates to end their season on a high by beating Leeds Rhinos.

The Black and Whites have endured a tough campaign in the Super League this year as they failed to reach the playoffs for the first time since 2009.

Despite not having anything to play for in their final match at home to Leeds on Friday, Thompson is eager for Hull to finish the season with a victory.

"It's not been the best season, and not making the playoffs is definitely a blow, but we have just got to concentrate on closing the season out and putting a smile back on the faces of the fans," he told the Hull Daily Mail.

"It's a tough end to the season, with all the top four or five teams in the last seven rounds, but it would be great if we can get the result against Leeds Rhinos on our own patch."

Hull are currently in 12th place in the Super League table with nine wins, 15 defeats and two draws from their previous 26 games.
