Peter Gentle hails Hull FC character

Hull FC coach Peter Gentle reveals that he is pleased with his side's character after Friday's 52-0 thrashing of Castleford Tigers in Super League.

Hull FC coach Peter Gentle has revealed that he is delighted with his side's character after Friday's 52-0 thrashing of Castleford Tigers in Super League.

Following last week's 36-16 defeat to Widnes Vikings, Hull responded with an emphatic triumph at the KC Stadium.

"We copped a fair bit of flack about [last week] and deservedly so," Gentle told Sky Sports News. "[Tonight] was more of a performance of pride."

The win has seen Hull move up to eighth place in the Super League table.
