Mitch Allgood handed two-match ban

Australian prop Mitch Allgood is given a two-match ban by the Rugby Football League for a striking offence.

Hull Kingston Rovers forward Mitch Allgood has been given a two-match ban by the Rugby Football League after admitting a charge of striking.

The 25-year-old was sin-binned after landing a series of blows on scrum-half Scott Dureau during his side's 50-20 win over Catalans Dragons at the weekend.

Allgood, who is in his first year with Hull KR, was also fined £300 for the Grade C offence.

Hull KR currently sit eighth in the Super League with four points from five games.
