Huddersfield Giants coach Paul Anderson calls for improvements

Huddersfield Giants head coach Paul Anderson believes that there is "room for improvement" in his team, despite their victory over Wigan Warriors last week.

Huddersfield Giants head coach Paul Anderson believes that there is "room for improvement" from his team after they upset Super League champions Wigan Warriors last week.

The Giants secured a 24-8 victory at the DW Stadium in their opening league fixture last Friday.

"They are the Super League Champions, but we've gone to their place and done a job, even though we know we could have done a lot better," Anderson told the club's official website.

"To be honest, I thought there were times when we looked a little under-done, which is to be expected after having just the one trial game against Hull KR last week. So I know there's a lot of room for improvement."

The Giants will take on Hull Kingston Rovers on February 23.
