Edinburgh's Perry Parker sidelined for four months with shoulder problem

Edinburgh announce that lock Perry Parker is expected to be sidelined for four months after undergoing surgery on his shoulder.

Edinburgh have announced that lock Perry Parker is likely to be on the sidelines for four months due to a shoulder injury.

The 26-year-old recently underwent surgery on a problem that has marred his fitness for some time.

A statement on the club's official website said: "The time to recover and rehabilitate from the surgery is expected to be around three to four months."

Parker has been with the club since 2012.
