Zeb Taia to leave Catalans Dragons at end of season

Catalans Dragons forward Zeb Taia agrees to join NRL side Gold Coast Titans for the 2016 campaign.

Catalans Dragons forward Zeb Taia has agreed to join NRL side Gold Coast Titans at the end of the season.

The 30-year-old, who is the Dragons' top try scorer this term with 11 scores to his name, joined the Super League club from Newcastle Knights in 2013.

"It's an opportunity I couldn't refuse," he is quoted as saying by BBC Sport. "I appreciate Catalans allowing me to return to the NRL. We have enjoyed our stay here and my goal here was to be one of the influential players in the team."

Taia has represented New Zealand and the Cook Islands at international level.
