Wigan Athletic secure three-year kit deal with Kappa

Newly-relegated League One side Wigan Athletic agree a three-year kit deal with European sportswear company Kappa.

Wigan Athletic have announced that European sportswear company Kappa will manufacture the club's kits for the next three seasons.

The recently-relegated League One club will have all matchday and training kits created by Kappa, who have replaced DW Sports brand MiFit.

Chief executive Jonathan Jackson told the club's official website: "This is a really exciting development for the club and we have worked hard to secure this deal with such a prestigious brand.

"Kappa are looking to continue to work within the UK football market and we are delighted to be able to become part of their roster of teams."

The Latics will launch their strip for the 2015-16 season at the DW Stadium on June 26.
