Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen has admitted that he is looking forward to the "challenge" of getting married at the weekend.
The 24-year-old will exchange vows with fiancee Lacey-Jo Hughes on Saturday after he captains Wales in tonight's friendly against the Netherlands.
"I'm tying the knot at the weekend so it's a pretty special week for me," Liverpool's official website quotes Allen as saying. "I've got a huge game to come first and foremost, and after is when it will really hit me.
'I'm think I'm going to wing it with both speeches so we'll have to see how it goes. I'm not sure I can think about Saturday yet - one challenge at a time. They are both huge challenges."
Allen and his soon-to-be wife are parents to son Alfie, who was born in September 2012.
