Valencia, Adidas unveil partnership

Valencia sign a new long-term partnership with German sports company Adidas.

A statement on Valencia's official website has revealed that the Spanish outfit have signed a new long-term partnership with major sports company Adidas.

Joma previously provided the kit for the La Liga side, but the former Spanish champions have now joined forces with the German brand.

"In addition to producing the playing and training kit for all Valencia CF teams, Adidas will be partnering with the club on wide-ranging retail and distribution platforms, including a state of the art megastore in downtown Valencia," read the statement.

"Adidas and Valencia CF will work together to bring further innovation into the sports brand's performance apparel range and as well into technology immersion in the sport.

"This new commercial partnership represents the biggest deal in its category in Valencia's history. The club is honoured and excited to be partnering with Adidas, a company that shares the same values and a common heritage and history. We believe that we can showcase Adidas values, product quality and innovation leadership and share it with our significant local and international fan base."

The agreement will officially begin on July 1.
