LOCOG deny that the Paralympian athletes staged a protest against Atol during the opening ceremony.

ParalympicsGB organisers have denied that the athletes protested against Atos as a sponsor for the London 2012 Games.

When the athletes were presented to the crowd it looked as though they had the Atos logo, which was on their straps, tucked into their jackets - thus not displaying the sponsor.

However, LOCOG have denied that this is the case and say that the athletes fully support the sponsors.

"They are one of our sponsors. We do support our sponsors. Without them, we don't have a Games," a LOCOG spokeswoman told The Guardian.

Great Britain had a good first day of the Paralympics, taking seven medals in total including two golds.
