A fan is knocked unconscious after being hit by a stray ball kicked by Tottenham Hotspur defender Jan Vertonghen at a Belgium training session.

A girl needed treatment from paramedics after being hit by a stray pass from Jan Vertonghen at a Belgium training session.

The young fan was knocked unconscious when an errant ball from the Tottenham Hotspur defender struck her.

The concerned player waited by the girl's side while she was treated by medics, who helped her to regain consciousness.


Belgium play Australia in an international friendly later today.
