A Scotland fan has died after falling down a stairwell during his country's Euro 2016 qualifier against the Republic of Ireland.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "There are no suspicious circumstances. A report will be prepared for the procurator fiscal."

Meanwhile, a statement on Celtic's official website read: "Everyone at Celtic Football Club is deeply saddened to learn of the death of a young supporter following last night's match between Scotland and the Republic of Ireland.
