James Rodriguez hugs pitch invader

New Real Madrid signing James Rodriguez hugs a pitch invader at the Bernabeu after rescuing him from security guards.

New Real Madrid signing James Rodriguez rescued a pitch invader from security guards and hugged the man while being presented at the Bernabeu.

The La Liga side announced that they had completed the signing of the Colombia international from AS Monaco yesterday for £63m, before unveiling him to thousands of fans at their stadium.

One supporter tried to get a bit too close to the 2014 World Cup Golden Boot winner, but security staff dragged him to the ground.

However, Rodriguez pulled the security guards off the invader before giving him a hug and guiding him to the side of the pitch.
