NBA side Phoenix Suns deny sales rep was flirting with fan's wife

The Phoenix Suns offer two free tickets to a man who claims that one of their sales representatives was "hitting on" his wife, but the club deny the accusations.

NBA side Phoenix Suns have denied accusations that one of their sales representatives was flirting with a fan's wife through email.

A female supporter received an email from the rep, who introduced himself and asked if she would like to go out for lunch or dinner to 'get to know her better'.

The woman's husband got in touch with the club via Twitter and wrote: "Hey @Suns I think your sales reps are hitting on my wife."

Club officials have denied the accusations and insist that the representative was just trying to sell the woman tickets, but as an apology for the misunderstanding, the Suns offered the disgruntled man two tickets for a home game of his choice, according to TMZ.

The club finished 10th in the Western Conference last season.
