Nottingham Forest owner Fawaz Al-Hasawi 'poses with dead animals'

Nottingham Forest owner Fawaz Al-Hasawi sparks controversy by posing for photos next to dead animals.

Nottingham Forest owner Fawaz Al-Hasawi has sparked controversy after pictures appeared online of the businessman posing next to animals who have been killed.

Headlines were made internationally recently when an American dentist reportedly paid around $50,000 (£32,000) to lure a lion called Cecil out of the Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe before shooting it dead.

In the last few days, pictures were added to Al-Hasawi's Instagram page showing the Forest owner smiling next to a dead deer and a ram, which the Daily Star reports is a dig at Forests's rivals Mansfield Town and Derby County.

Al-Hasawi and his family purchased Forest back in 2012.
