Wimbledon and Olympic champion Serena Williams has revealed that she plans to hit a karaoke bar ahead of the US Open in New York.
The American pro, who snatched a gold medal at the London 2012 Games this summer in impressive fashion over Maria Sharapova, has already outlined her off-field antics during the tournament in the Big Apple.
"I was just talking to my physio today about how the first thing I do when I get to New York is I'm going to karaoke," Williams told her official website.
"I hadn't karaoked in, gosh, since like February or January. I'm a karaokier. Normally I karaoke every day. Now I'm just overwhelmed, I have so many songs I want to sing. I call it the Adele syndrome, not that I have an Adele voice. My voice is so terrible!"
The final Grand Slam of the year gets underway on Monday.
