Survey: Swimmers make best lovers, runners crave attention

A survey to mark the BHF'S 2015 events series reveals that swimmers make the best lovers and runners crave the most attention.

A survey has indicated that swimmers make the best lovers, runners enjoy being the centre of attention and cyclists are materialistic.

The study, which was carried out by Mindlab, marks the launch of the British Heart Foundation's 2015 events series, which holds 70 sporting events across the UK and overseas.

After speaking to 2,000 adults across the country, it was found that certain sports are linked to personality traits - swimmers are deemed to be the happiest, while people who do yoga are very agreeable and organised.

Those who regularly go the gym are more likely to read The Sun and vote for the Conservative party in the general election, while runners are believed to be more inclined to support Labour.
